Philip J. Bardi
What you might want to know about me.
My name is Phil, I also go by Philip.
I also go by Bardi Bear, but rarely. I do love cheese.
I spend my time creating things. Sometimes Films,
sometimes paintings, a lot of the time photography,
sometimes films about photography, sometimes I just
create jokes, or a "cool" atmosphere at parties,
but I’m always creating.
I graduated from Full Sail university as a
film major in 1998.
I had some advertising internships before getting
hired by Raymond James as their Film/Video/Sound
editor in 1999.
In 2000 I left Raymond James to work for Knowledgeview,
an internet startup. I worked as head photographer, and a Flash manager.
I also continued editing, but with an emphasis on video for the web and web compression technology.
In 2002 I was hired by Clear Channel Communications to work as producer and on air talent for their Star 95.7 station in Tampa, Florida. I produced and was on air for the Morning drive time (6-11am), overnights (12-4am) and Saturdays.
In 2004 I began working for Bob Hite's Media Factory - I worked as lead Film and Sound Editor, I also worked extensively with Flash, flash video, and video compression for the web.
In 2005 I also began working for the Creative Loafing as an assignment Photographer.
In 2009 I left The Media Factory, and began doing freelance Photography and Film and Video projects.
In late 2009 I created Routes Music and went on the road creating short films and Photo Pieces. Writings and Short Films were shown on the Creative Loafing website. A longer form piece is still under construction.
In 2011 I began work Digibulldada. A media company with only artistic morals. So far we've made 6 cents, but it was actually in barter for beard hair.
